Rhea
In any case, scarcity of fabric across many years has led us to prioritize practical designs over most anything else.

Babel is the cosmopolitan refuge you return to after a Tower run. The official site uses that word; Auld Lang Syne is the Steam achievement for coming back after beating the game. Between expeditions you talk to inhabitants and give gifts to deepen bonds. This page lists the named people first-party sources actually give us: Rhea with a spoken line about fabric scarcity, Momo with a three-heart bond UI, the Creator as narrator, and five rescue targets whose only proof is an achievement sentence. It does not list unpublished a relationship chart.

Store copy splits the holdout into a laboratory on the outskirts and Babel as the place with people. The Rhea still is the dialogue vernacular: a named resident, a real line about years of fabric scarcity, no invented affection score. Momo’s bond UI shows three empty hearts in a club interior, which is the only first-party picture of the gift-and-hearts loop. The Creator introduces the four-unit team with “These four all know each other... Perhaps too well.”
Sinner appears on the New Game menu as a difficulty beside Story and Normal, and Welcome to Sinner is also a death location in the tower list. Keep those two uses distinct: one is a save-file setting, the other is a named place you can die in. For the climb itself, return to Tower of Babel.
Rhea’s line about practical designs is also a costume note: Babel has been short on fabric for years. That is why the city still looks timbered and worn in the rose-ash street shot rather than like a royal court. The lab is the other half of the holdout, full of cables and CRTs, and you walk between those two visual languages every time a run ends.
Creator’s line about the four knowing each other too well is the only official personality note on the squad as a group. It is why the unit page can stay mechanical while Babel keeps the social leftover. Fernet, Spika, Laika, and Dolce are still the same four names; Babel is where the game admits they have history.
Mikolaj, TV-Head, Caius, Fang, and Raiza are rescue targets. The Steam descriptions are the entire biographies we have: Dziękuję, kochanie; the static speaks my name; Psss Psss Psss; This is too, a hunters duty.; Pavane for Dead Princess. High priority is the pet-every-pet row. Without love, it cannot be seen. is bond with every character. Those two completion achievements are why this page exists as a bond index instead of a short flavor blurb.
Gift-giving is in the store pitch, but no first-party table lists gift preferences. Do not expect a liked-item grid here. If a later official still shows one, it belongs on this route. Until then, use the resident list and the rescue sentences, then hunt the matching icons on Achievements.
High priority (pet every pet) and Without love, it cannot be seen. (bond with every character) are the two 0.1% / 0% closers that turn this list from flavor into a hunt. If you only needed Rhea’s quote, you could have stopped at the still. The rescue names exist because Steam made them achievements.
The New Game still prints Story, Normal, and Sinner as difficulty names over the lab. Welcome to Sinner is a death achievement in a named location. Those two uses of the same word are easy to mash together and wrong to mash together. Pick Sinner on the file if you want that difficulty. Die in Sinner the place if you are hunting the achievement. Babel the city is the refuge with Rhea and Momo, not a difficulty.
Auld Lang Syne is the post-credits return. Farewell, Babel. is the hidden final-boss achievement. Together they bookend the city: you leave it to climb, you kill whatever sits at the top, you come home. Gift-giving is the bond verb in the store pitch; the three empty hearts on Momo are the UI. That is the entire official bond tutorial. Rescue achievements are how the rest of the named cast enters the index.
Story / Normal / Sinner on the New Game menu is also the only official difficulty trio. There is no first-party explanation of what Sinner changes besides the name and the death achievement in a place called Sinner. Do not print fan damage multipliers here.
